Silent Manager for MetaTrader 4 is yet another tool that brokers would prefer you NOT to have.
It is designed to be a guardian of your opened trades, closing them as per your Risk and Profit expectations as defined in your trading plan. It offers four functionalities:
a) Risk & Profit management scope: define a group of trades, on which the expert will execute a risk & profit management. All risk & profit management functions will execute on this group of trades, allowing you to secure your profit on the whole set of selected trades.
b) Hidden stop loss & take profit: keep your Take Profit target and Stop Loss limit outside of the broker’s order book. Set your Risk and Goal and let the Expert patiently monitor.
c) Trailing stop: apply a Trailing Stop outside of the broker’s order book and outside of the very limited trailing-stop function of MetaTrader.
d) Trading history: create the history of all recorded profit & loss levels, and the history of profit levels for each order, allowing you to refine your strategy / system / plan.
The expert can send notifications to a mobile device.
These functionalities can be used independently.
Note: Silent Manager is designed to manage a whole group of orders, while Silent Tracker is designed to manage each order.

Expert functionalities:
a) Risk & Profit management scope:
When you load the expert, choose a scope of management:
- all trades: the expert will apply the risk & profit management functions on all market orders, in other words on the account.
- all trades for a given symbol: the expert will apply the risk & profit management functions on all market orders on one symbol.
- all trades for a given magic number: the expert will apply the risk & profit management functions on all market orders that were opened with one magic number.
b) Hidden stop loss & take profit:
Keep your risk limits and your profit expectations private (hidden stop loss / take profit, also called silent or soft stop loss / take profit), avoiding brokers’ stop hunting and limit avoidance.
Load the expert on a symbol's chart with a combination of parameters that represent your risk management plan and your expectations. Or, modify all parameters to apply to all symbols/charts.
Let the computer manage these soft stops and soft takes tick after tick – you can work, go away, go running, do your shopping: the expert does it for you.
Note: The limits will apply on the total P&L of the group of trades in scope.
c) Intelligent trailing stop for optimal profits:
Apply a Trailing Stop outside of the broker’s order book and outside of the very limited trailing-stop function of MetaTrader.
After a trade has reached a minimum profit, the expert will start monitoring the trade; if the profit turns back by a defined % or amount of money, it is automatically closed to secure your profit.
If you wish, during this monitoring the trade profits are recorded. This means you can review the history of all trades and adjust the % that you apply to protect your profits.
Note: The trailing strategy will apply on the total P&L of the group of trades in scope.
d) Trading history:
Build a history of all orders' Profit & Loss, and record profitable trades.
- Ask the expert to create a history of all recorded profit & loss values for each order.
- Ask the expert to also create a history of the recorded profits associated to a trailing-stop.
These historic files specific to your trading system will be extremely precious in refining your take-profit and trailing stop strategy.
Notifications:
Sends text notification to a mobile device, in case conditions are met to close all orders in scope.
