Silent Tracker for MetaTrader 4 is another tool that brokers would prefer you NOT to have.
It is designed to be a guardian of your opened trades, closing them as per your Risk and Profit expectations as defined in your trading plan. It offers three functionalities:
a) Hidden stop loss & take profit: keep your Take Profit target and Stop Loss limit outside of the broker’s order book. Set your Risk and Goal and let the Expert patiently monitor.
b) Trailing stop: apply a Trailing Stop outside of the broker’s order book and outside of the very limited trailing-stop function of MetaTrader.
c) Trading history: create the history of all recorded profit & loss levels, and the history of profit levels for each order, allowing you to refine your strategy / system / plan.
These functionalities can be used independently.
Currency, Pips or Points: configure the expert to work with the unit of your choice.
Scopes: choose the trades you want the script to monitor.

Expert functionalities:
Configure the expert to work in the unit of your choice: You can choose between Account currency, Pips or Points.
a) Hidden stop loss & take profit:
Keep your risk limits and your profit expectations private (hidden stop loss / take profit, also called silent or soft stop loss / take profit), avoiding brokers’ stop hunting and limit avoidance.
Load the expert on a symbol's chart with a combination of parameters that represent your risk management plan and your expectations. Or, modify all parameters to apply to all symbols/charts.
Let the computer manage these soft stops and soft takes tick after tick – you can work, go away, go running, do your shopping: the expert does it for you.
b) Intelligent trailing stop for optimal profits:
Apply a Trailing Stop outside of the broker’s order book and outside of the very limited trailing-stop function of MetaTrader.
After a trade has reached a minimum profit, the expert will start monitoring the trade; if the profit turns back by a defined % or amount of money, it is automatically closed to secure your profit.
If you wish, during this monitoring the trade profits are recorded. This means you can review the history of all trades and adjust the % that you apply to protect your profits.
c) Trading history:
Build a history of all orders' Profit & Loss, and record profitable trades.
- Ask the expert to create a history of all recorded profit & loss values for each order.
- Ask the expert to also create a history of the recorded profits associated to a trailing-stop.
These historic files specific to your trading system will be extremely precious in refining your take-profit and trailing stop strategy.
Configure the expert scope: Choose between Chart symbol, Magic number or All symbols.

Note: the expert comes with a Scope parameter, plus the additional flexibility to readjust parameters to all charts in one go when the expert is running, removing the need to adjust each and every chart.
