Traditional MACD is a clean and reliable implementation of the MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) technical indicator for MetaTrader 4.
It is designed to be used as a replacement of the default MACD provided with MetaTrader, which is not the proper implementation of MACD.
This version is multi time-frame: on your current chart, the indicator can display the MACD calculation from a higher time-frame.

The MACD indicator provided by Metaquotes is a custom interpretation of MACD, that differs from the original one. Traditional MACD is a versatile indicator used in trend and oscillation analysis.
Multi time-frame: the indicator is able to show MACD from the chart's time-frame, or from a higher timeframe. If you use to check the "higher picture" of the market structure before switching back to your preferred time-frame (think of a triple-screen system), then you will find this indicator very handy.
